Students have the opportunity to use Spanish in real settings, and meet other Spanish university students at language exchange happenings or any of the numerous social events on campus.
Since culture is the cornerstone of the Study Abroad Office at the Autonomous University of Madrid (SAM), language is taught through culture with an emphasis on intercultural development. After completion of the intensive course, and once you have reached a Spanish proficiency level of B1 (intermediate) or above, you may enroll in the DiLe. The combination with the Diploma de Lengua Española, Cultura y Civilización Courses (DiLe) or the Spanish for Academic Purposes course is the perfect pathway to studying an undergraduate degree in Spain.
