The Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Campus of International Excellence, offers Spanish courses for foreign students at the Complutense Center for Spanish (CCEE).
Our courses on Spanish language and culture include
- All levels
- Practice in all language skills
- Business and working environment oriented courses
We also offer specific courses, such as History, Art, Literature and Culture courses, and advanced level courses in Spanish culture.
The Complutense Centre for Spanish (Centro Complutense para la Eseñanza del Español) organises different activities to enhance students’ knowledge of Spanish language and culture, such as guided tours, visits to cultural sites and emblematic institutions.
As any Complutense student, all CCEE students have access to all services and facilities at the University such as
- Libraries and language laboraries
- Computer rooms and free wifi access
- Sports and swimming pool facilities
- University dining halls
Tution – € 2,126 / * per trimester/semester.
The fee covers the cost of tuition for the trimester.
Housing – Costs vary.
The Spanish Language & Culture Course is offered on all levels from beginner to advanced. Classes are held morings and afternoons. Students take a placement exam upon arrival and are placed in the proper level Spanish course.
The Spanish course includes grammar, Spanish conversation, and practical Spanish. Students can also select from a number of optional Spanish culture classes, such as History of Spain, Spanish Music, Folklore, Art, Philosophy, Literature, and Latin American Literature.
Students receive a certificate / transcript from the University Complutense de Madrid.
Housing / Accommodation
A number of housing options are available. However, students must arrange their own housing, as the Universidade Complutense de Madrid is one of a few universities that does not arrange housing for students participating in Spanish Language & Culture Courses.
