COURSE DESCRIPTION
Summer Spanish courses at Nebrija University consist of 20 class-hours of Spanish per week for a total of 80 class-hours of Spanish per month. Participants take a Spanish placement test prior to beginning their Spanish classes in order to place them in the correct level Spanish course. Spanish courses are offered on many levels, from beginner Spanish to advanced Spanish. At the end of the program with academic credits, students receive an academic transcript listing the coursework completed and grades achieved.
Participants can take either the June Intensive Spanish Course, the July Intensive Spanish Course, or both courses.
The Spanish Language and Culture program is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their deepen their knowledge of both the Spanish language and the different aspects of the cultures of the Hispanic world, related to Spanish art, Spanish literature, Spanish history, etc. The Spanish program courses combine Spanish language and Spanish culture studies, as it is the best way to learn a language and to also understand the way people think and live in that culture.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Open enrollment, anybody can participate. The Spanish program at the Universidad Nebrija in Madrid is open to teens, students, and adults. You do not have to be a college student to enroll in this Spanish program. You do not have to participate in a US university study abroad program to enroll in this Spanish program. Minimum age 18.

The Centro de Estudios Hispanicos at Nebrija University offers Intensive Spanish Language and Spanish Language and Culture courses, as well as Spanish courses for professionals and Spanish exam preparation courses. Nebrija University is located in the capital of Spain, Madrid. Students from over 30 countries come to Nebrija university each year to study Spanish and deepen their knowledge of Spain, its culture, and way of life. Our staff in the Students Services Department will make your stay sail as smoothly as possible. They will provide you with internet access, library information, housing, etc.
